
At MJ Millar Ranch we pride ourselves on raising the finest and tastiest lamb in Manitoba. Our lambs are born December through May. December born lambs go on an all natural barley and hay ration right away and are ready to go by early April. The May born lambs go out to pasture for the summer and are put on a creep feed ration until fall. The lambs are then put on an all natural finishing ration of barley and hay. We finish our lambs on our own harvested hay and grain. Market lambs receive no hormones or antibiotics.
Lambs are ready from April through December. They are government inspected and generally weigh between 30 and 60 lbs dressed weight. We can deliver the lambs to your butcher or arrange to have it cut and wrapped for you. Delivery to central location in Winnipeg can be arranged on an as needed basis at no charge.
